An abscess typically forms around a hair follicle, but not always. It is a pustular infection where the skin starts off red and swollen and develops into a painful elevated lump. Abscesses usually ripen and are eliminated though the surface of the skin.

Make a compress using all 3 oils if possible and apply it to the area of swelling twice a day.  For dental abscesses put a drop of Chamomile on a cotton bud and applly directly.  Also apply Lavender and NZ Manuka in a carrier oil to the cheek and jaw area.
