Mice

Uses:
To discourage them entering your house.

Ingredients:
10 drops total of Spearmint and/or Peppermint
10mls Water

Application:
Spray in strategic locations and/or soak cotton balls and place in trouble spots.




Cockroaches

Uses:
To discourage them entering your house.

Ingredients:
Peppermint and/or Lemongrass

Application:
Place on cotton balls at the back of cupboards, etc.. and/or spray in trouble spots (10 drops essential oil to 10mls water for spray mix).




Ants

Uses:
To help repel them back out of your house!

Ingredients:
Peppermint and/or Spearmint

Application:
Smear a line across the floor on the track they are following. Be sure to leave an exit for them that you don't put oil onto.




Moths/Silverfish

Uses:
To discourage them entering your house, and encourage them to leave if they have already entered.

Ingredients:
Cedarwood
Patchouli
Citronella

Application:
Soak cotton balls to use in draws. Or put a few drops of the oil(s) onto pieces of paper or ribbon and hang these from your windows.

Caution:
Don't let the cotton balls touch light coloured clothes as the dark resinous oils can stain clothes.




Flies

Uses:
To deter flies from entering your house.

Ingredients:
Citronella
Lavender
Clove
Peppermint

Application:
Vaporise 6-8 drops of your chosen essential oil(s) in an electric vaporiser or candle burner (add water with a candle burner).  You may need to experiment to see which if the above oils works best for your flies.




Mosquitoes

Uses:
To stop them bitting you.

Ingredients:
Peppermint
Citronella
Water

Application:
Mix 5 drops Peppermint, 5 drops Citronella into 10mls water and spray or wipe over exposed skin. Or you may like to use our Dolphin Clinic Bugs Away Insect Repellent - a ready mix of these oils in Lavender Water and Witchazel.
